List of activities the kids will be doing day to day -
We start each day learning something about each other, going over the rules and the plan for the day including setting a schedule of learning and fun.
Once we have divided into our farm teams, we tackle the chores. As each team is equally divided between age and gender, we set team goals to get the daily chores accomplished including Farm Olympics!
We'll clean up and go take a break and go over all we have accomplished and done together as a team at the Farm.
We take our time to check on all the hay, grain and waters for the animals and spend time meeting them and giving them treats and love.
We provide a clean area for the kids to all get together, eat and then reflect and have time away for all the outside noise. We have a treehouse children can eat their lunch.
We encourage all the children to draw, read and write about the farm and relaxing with the animals and nature
Here, we work daily on painting the Camp Banner and building our bird house and doing arts, crafts and boardgames.
Each day we will have our big event here. This is the blocked hour to have our horse vet come discuss proper horse care, do riding lessons, go on nature walks and visit our neighbors farm to see the 20 plus cattle and different farm experience, local horse vendor speaks with the children about horse nutrition, and speak with an in house boarder about owning a horse.
At the end of the day, we will discuss our day in group circle and sing goodbye songs for the day, laugh and reflect on our favorite parts of the day until parent pickup.
- All in All it is our goal to teach, work and learn with the children about our farm -
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
